Maybe what’s wrong with partisan politics isn’t too much fighting and disagreement, but not enough? Maybe a lot of the deepest problems with Ottawa have nothing to do with politicians at all, but rather with a poorly-written constitution? Maybe a strong Canadian culture actually exists, but it has nothing to do with the CBC, the Tragically Hip, or even hockey?
